Dropping a Dual Enrollment Course
A student may request to drop a dual enrollment course during the semester if they feel they no longer want to participate in it. The student has until the college’s "Office Record Day" to request to drop a dual enrollment course so it MAY NOT affect the student’s academic record. Once the college’s "Official Record Day" has passed, the student will have until the “Last Day to Withdraw” date on that respective semester to request to drop to avoid from getting an “F”, but instead earn a grade of a “W” (in some cases “Q”) from that college for that respective semester. Please see Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Policy on how dropping and failing a course may affect your overall college career. Students will need to visit with the College and Career Center to know what these dates are for each semester (or view the college website) so they can plan accordingly.
