High School Senior Named KRGV's Student Of The Week
Channel 5 News has announced that San Benito High School Senior, Joanna Gonzalez, has been selected as the first KRGV Student of The Week. Joanna plays catcher on the varsity softball team, is a member of STEMS, Lower Valley Cotillion, and Upward Bound Math & Science. Channel 5 News has selected 10 students from around the RGV to be recipients of this award. Joanna will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship sponsored by Channel 5 News, Bert Ogden, and McDonald's of the Rio Grande Valley. Channel 5 News will broadcast her interview on October 4th during the 6:00 A.M. news segment. Congratulations Joanna!!!
