SBHS Library Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

Come out and support your Library! Stop by any Harlingen Chick-fil-A location this Thursday between 5:00-8:00 PM. A small percentage of each sale will go towards the SBHS Library. You may dine in or use the drive-thru. You MUST present the flyer, picture of the flyer, screenshot of this post, or this post itself at the time of purchase. Please spread the word to family and friends! Share this post away! Proceeds benefit student activities in the library, including, but not limited to the purchase of materials, literacy events, student incentives, makerspace activities, and reading promotion. In anticipation of potentially hazardous driving conditions due to probable pending precipitation and freezing temperatures overnight, all San Benito CISD campuses, departments, and offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 17. The district plans to resume all normal operations Thursday, January 18. Please be safe!

Students who made the Superintendent's List each semester during their Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years of high school, received their Hi-5 jacket on December 14, 2017. SBHS Christmas Spirit Week Scheduled for 12/18 Through 12/22

SBHS will participate in a Christmas Spirit Week the last week before Christmas break.
Monday 12/18 - Christmas Hat Gear (wear your favorite reindeer, elf, Santa, etc. Christmas head gear)
Tuesday 12/19 - Candy Cane Day (dress in red and white to get in the Christmas spirit )
Wednesday 12/20 - Ugly Christmas Sweater (wear your ugliest Christmas sweater)
Thursday 12/21 - Mr. & Mrs. Claus and Work Crew (dress like Santa or Mrs. Claus, reindeer or elf)
Friday 12/22 - Merry Christmas Movies (dress like your favorite Christmas movie character)

San Benito NJROTC Liberty Hounds Teams Qualify For State

On the 2ND of December at Southwest High School in San Antonio the NJROTC teams composed of Unarmed, Armed, Color Guard, Physical Fitness, and the Academics qualified for Area 10 state drill competition.

Early Release: Friday December 1st

Dr. Carman has just announced that we will be having early release on Friday, December 1st. Our mighty Greyhounds will be traveling to Corpus Christi to take on SA O'Connor in the Regional Playoff Game. So that all involved may travel safely, we will be following an early release schedule as follows:
Elementary Schools: 12:10 PM
Middle Schools: 1:10 PM
High Schools: 1:45 PM
